Bebe White - Aged 8 - Winner!

This was such a funny and imaginative adventure with a brilliant character dynamic. It is a heartwarming tale of second chances and finding the good in others, and your dialogue is particularly excellent and gave the judges a chuckle. The illustrations are amazing and tie in with the narrative of your story so well. The judges were also impressed by your great use of chapter structure. Overall, this is a thoroughly enjoyable tale about the power of being good and would make a fantastic animated series. Superb!

Fox and Rabbit and the Rogue Robot

Chapter one

"Sniffle" Sounded a fox.

''Squeak'' sounded a rabbit.

''Oh! Sorry, I didn't see you! I'm Fox, this is my best friend, Rabbit! We live here, the furthest you can go into the forest.'' said Fox excitedly.

''Fox STOP! You're scaring them! Sorry, Fox can get a little TOO excited. Sorry we startled you, but since we were born here, because this is a magical woods, we are magic too! So yes, it means we can talk! '' explained Rabbit.

"Stop being so..sooo...technical Rabbit! But, Rabbit is absolutely right!" Said Fox.

"Squeeeeaaaakkkk!!!!!!" Suddenly screamed Rabbit." oop." Said Rabbit, embarrassed.

"hehehehehehe!" Laughed Fox."OOoOoooHHHhh, lookRabbit!

"its aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.......whatsamajiggy." Said Fox, struggling.

" Fox! You founda box! A human, like them, might have left it there ages ago! Guessed Rabbit.

"Oh no! I broke it! The top came off!" Said Fox in dismay.

"No Fox, don't worry. It's a box, it is supposedto do that~ look inside! You'll see!" Encouraged Rabbit.

"wooooow!" Breathed Fox.

"What,what!" Said Rabbit.

"A robot!" Answered Fox.

Chapter two

"Let's turn it on!" Said Fox.

"WAIT FOX! WE DON'T KNOW-" Started Rabbit.

"Hi. I'm BZZT 21-Q. Youcan just call me BZZT." said BZZT the robot.

"-How to use it." Finished Rabbit. It was too late..BZZT was on.

" I can't turn him off again!" Panicked Fox. "He won't let me!"

It was a rogue robot...

Chapter three

"LETS JUST RUN!" Screamed Rabbit.

"NO!" Said Fox quickly.

" Why!?" Asked Rabbit.

"He probably just hasn't been turned on for a while and he wants to stay alive again." Answered Fox reasonably.

"O.k then." Said Rabbit nervously.

"BZZT is hungry. Need bolts to eat." Said the very futuristic robot, BZZT.

"Look! There's some bolts and screws and stuff in the box too!" Pointed out Rabbit.

"Here you go BZZT!" Said Fox.

"Thank you Master Fox and Master Rabbit." Said BZZT.

"Wait ...how does he know our names!?" Questioned Fox. "Nevermind." Said Fox, still a little bit suspicious.

Chapter four

"Let's go and play a game now you're fed BZZT! All three of us, having fun." Said Fox. So off they went, Fox, Rabbit and BZZT...But BZZT didn't follow. "okkkkkk.....lets playy.....-" Started Fox.

"Fox! Look! BZZT isn't here!" Interrupted Rabbit.

"Oh no! Rabbit you were right! BZZT isn't a good robot. Oh no. It can't be!" Fox had a bad memory pop up in his head from when he was just a "wee cub". A robot came and attacked Fox and his family, so they all left home but his mum and dad were too old and they told Fox to go, and that they would catch up, but the robot caught them before they could come. Then they got caged up in a zoo by the owner of this robot. So Fox then found Rabbit, became friends and lived in Rabbit's peaceful home and they grew up together, but Fox never thought he would see the robot again, but he did.

Chapter five

"No. It is!" Said Fox.

"You mean the robot that attacked you and your family!?" Asked Rabbit, sounding scared.

"yes!" Answered Fox. "We have to get BZZT and turn him off before he captures any more animals.

“QUICK!" Said Rabbit. But when they ran back to the box, he was gone.

Chapter six

"Look! There he is!" Whispered Rabbit, as they hid behind a bush. They had a net to catch him with and......BANG!

He was in the net. But he flew away out of the net and they tried again. hiding behind a tree.............BANG!

But he flew away again. They tried many times over but he did the same thing over and over again.

"We'll NEVER catch him!" Said Fox in dismay.

"You're right. We should just leave it. I guess all animals will be captured in the whole entire world." Agreed Rabbit.

"No! We HAVE to keep trying!" Said Fox, changing his mind.

"YAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!" Rabbit screamed~ he had caught him! And he didn't escape!

Chapter seven

"What do we do with him though?" Asked Fox.

"Break him of course!" Answered Rabbit.

"But the owner will just make a new one though!" Said Fox.

"Oh yeah! What should we do then?" Said Rabbit.

"Turn him good!" Said Fox.

"How!?" Asked Rabbit.

"You'll see!" Said Fox.

Chapter eight

"First, we need to put BZZT on a lead. Then we can do lots of fun stuff with him and he will see how much fun being good is and he will stay good forever and live with us!" Explained Fox.

"Great idea!" Said Rabbit so they put him on a lead and went to play chase.

"WOW. I never thought being good was so much fun!" Said BZZT. "I am going tostay like this forever!" Said BZZT.

"Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy!"Screamed Rabbit and Fox. So off they went back home to watch their favourite show "Deer & Bear" with their new best friend, BZZT.
